Near West Bengal's Barasat a 45 years old woman was gang raped and murdered by 8 men, it was about happened in barasat 40 kilometers from Kolkata. Her husband was injured while trying to save her and admitted to a hospital in Kolkata. The case has been filed.
The husband and wife was returning home from a brick kiln on saturday evening, in the way some people started harassing the woman, while the husband tried to save he was beaten severely and some acid like substance also thrown at him. He managed to free himself and call neighbours for help and they searched her and she was found death near a pond.
